Playing time: 30 minutes
Luck o o o o o Strategy/Tactics
Game rules: English, Dutch

Material

1 square playing board (with a heightened border)
81 square map cards that together make up the map of Europe
4 pawns
4 racks to put the square cards on, in front of the player, to prevent that other players can see them.

Description

The players place series of 1 to 4 adjoining map cards to complete the map. Some map cards are more valuable than other, depending on the number of towns on it. The longer the series a player places, and the more valuable the map cards of this series, the more bonus points the player obtains; the number of bonus points determines the number of fields the player can move his pawn ahead. The game is finished when all map cards are placed and the map is completed. The player whose pawn is furthest ahead, is winner of the game.

Variations

Europe is only a theme. All themes related to a map or a plan (e.g. of a building) with a number of target locations are suited for the game. A similar game with a different theme was developed for the municipality of Delft, Delft inDelen.

Status

The game is finished. A prototype is available.
