Description

Targui is a strategic desert game with 2 - 4 Touareg tribes, conquering each other about the mastery of the Sahara. Careful tactics are alternated with violent action. Caravans are taken by surprise, saltmines are conquered and oases defended. The player who is most able to use the strategical and economical possibilities of the desert, will eventually win, although - even for the best player - fate can strike.

Status

The game was issued by the Dutch game manufacturer JUMBO from 1988 until 1994 in most European countries. In 1999 the game was issued again in a limited and numbered edition of 10000 games.
