Meteo (Weer en Wind in Dutch) is a strategic game with the weather as a decisive factor. Each player invests in hotels and cruiseships. Whether these investments will pay back, depends on the weather. Hence, good weather forecasting is crucial. Like in real life, this is not an easy task, the more because the other players will affect the weather, if possible: sunshine for themselves, rain for the others...

The Dutch game manufacturer Jumbo launched the game between 1990 and 1992 in many European countries with the titels Weer en Wind (in the Netherlands), Wind und Wetter (in German speaking countries), Météo Business (in France), and Meteo (England, Italy, Spain).
